An ancient dressed lady silhouette is holding a traditional Chinese instrument pipa sitting in the center, which can be a reflection of myself or represent the entire Eastern culture. I have been practicing pipa for many years since I was little, and I am deeply influenced by traditional Asian music and culture. There are many windows around my living room in my house. From the east to the west, the east is behind this silhouette, and the west is in front of her. I want to integrate the quietness and freedom into my soul and into the painting, and hope that it blends the past and the present, and bridges the East and the West.
