I grew up in China exposed by Chinese art, craft, and culture. The content of my painting and drawing is deeply rooted from my girlhood memory, by Mother Nature, my kids, my love to life. I was raised by my grandmother until the age of three, when I moved from a traditional quadrangle courtyard in a small village, to the big city of Beijing. Easing the cultural shock from the moving, I entertained myself by drawing pictures and creating my own world in my little room.

After graduated from college, I moved to the U.S. and experienced another, deeper cultural shock. But this time, it helped me develop invaluable ways to explore the world of art immersed deeply into the diversity of cultures, including ways of feeling and thinking, usage and choice of color and media, overcoming the language barrier, and even the exploration of the meaning of life.

With a M.S. degree in Accounting and having been briefly worked for a CPA firm, I began to seriously start my journey of painting and drawing in the fall of 2017.

I am so eager to use my talent to create a magical world of mine that I can entice my audience to listen to my stories, enjoy my moments, and exchange with me ideas beyond the barriers of languages and cultures.
